How to install
Get a free ZXP installer
Grab whichever you like. Both are free and trusted across the industry:
aescripts + aeplugins ZXP Installer
Install MatterAE
Open the installer and drag the MatterAE.zxp file into its window. It drops everything into the right, properly secured Adobe folders for you, on both Mac and Windows.
Restart After Effects
Fully quit and reopen so it picks up the new panel. If AE was already running, it will not see MatterAE until you do.
Open the panel
Go to Window > Extensions > MatterAE. Dock it wherever you like, select a few layers, and press play.
